Wow, that' an exquisite shot, Josef! From Conzelman Rd., I guess. Very unusual to see a b/w from you, and such a wonderful one!

Thanks Harald, I liked it too, thats why I posted. I think what may be appealing to us, its like a 1940's or 50's photo of SF. You know well having been exactly there.
The day before, when I took that pic I was trying to do sunset from Pt Bonita lighthouse up to Bolinas. The Marin Headlands. It didn't turn out too well. A hazy lite fog was all around.

I'm working up what I can salvage? I got some pretty strange stuff. Maybe you can tell whats very strange about this one:

its just a little inland from Conzelman Rd. This is a short camera roll of that day. There's a colored one you might also like

Having a "Ton of Fun" Harald. Happy shooting to you 2. And all at Dyxum _________Josef👋

The guy in the shed looks like a display dummy! This isn't a military installation - or is it one?

The b/w is the best in the series, IMO. You should try that more often!

All the best, Harald.

Harald you are exactly right. The dummy looked pretty ominous to me up close. Its the remains of a Cold War Nike Missile site. I was taken aback for a while. Its right in the Lighthouse area.
I like b/w. I'm going to work on it, being a Big Cinema Noir fan!

Take Care_________Josef

@Fred_S, a lovely set of monochrome seaside images. They are all beautifully composed and rendered, and though it's hard to pick favourites, ##5 and 6 are particularly appealing to me. TFS.

@Muby, I really like your take on the Frank Gehry designed Disney concert hall. It's a very striking piece of architecture, and your image draws the eye with its leading lines. I like the contrast of the strict rectilinear geometry of the staircase to the fluid metal clad shapes of the building itself. TFS.

To the right is a natural reserve, a ridge with Pulsatilla vulgaris in the spring.
