I am very sorry, but in my humble opinion this is only pretentious kitsch, reminding on posters for the children with modest saints and luminous angels, pinned above their beds, to help them into a good sleep, alas!
P.S.: there are times when I'm truly devoted to kitsch - especially with an author, composer or the like showing it with a twinkle in his/her eyes - for instance Leonard Bernstein, John Rutter.
kitsch well done is... Well, good. What do you think about paintings by Rubens? Baroque or Kitsch? The question what is Kitsch deserves an article in the Irish Times. I can't stand Anne Gedes like new born photography. But unlike that kind of photography, this is respectful and well executed by Kapuschinsky. If it is kitsch, it is the good kind of kitsch

To me the most important thing is this is executed well and inspires me.

P.s. If kitsch is done with a twinkle in the eye of the artist, isn't it worse? Isn't it mocking the on looker and other artists? Just food for thought
