@Jadom: Jack, I'm not normally one to use a light vignette, but it works here quite nicely. The large tree in the right foreground keeps drawing my eye away from the center. I might have preferred a slightly different angle so that this tree was either not washed out by the vignette or absent altogether.

Thank you for your comments. This white vignetting is an effect offered by Topaz BW Effects 2 and is called "Milk Memories". This program offers tens of effects and I liked this one best. But you can be right: I have to try another option some day. Perhaps it will be regular BW without any "artistic bizarres" or I'll try some other effect. I haven't decided yet. Picture was taken yesterday so is still fresh.
But any picture look in this case is a matter of personal taste. Isn't?

A quick selfie with the A7Riii and Tamron 35mm f2.8. Mostly to see how good the eye-AF was...
