Really nice page up to now:
svjetlana daydreaming: Nice, clear lines, love it! fennetje Lizzy: nice picture, but adds little to your colour pictures of Lizzy. But.... Mid-run: is great. With the water and the reflection. Dopol The keramiekmuseum is really nice. I wonder if it would be better if you stood a little to the right. I feel the tension of it not being completely aligned adds to the picture. Thank you three for sharing! |

The image of the Escher room is striking (and hilarious). I wonder whether people are not banging their heads at the walls!

There are hundreds of abandoned properties in Eastern Poland. Old owners died or moved to their children living in bigger towns. Younger people left due to area lack of job. So now, at one time beauties are old, derelict and abandoned. Their inheritors (if there are any) are more than happy if they can sell it to somebody who want to rebuilt them for vacation home. But it doesn't happen too often.

Hi Addy, thanks ! The first one was a rescue operation in some departments. The original lacked some micro contrast and the colours were not all that great, as the sun had already set at the time. The black & white version sort of levels out the greyish colours and the lack of micro-contrast doesn't disturb as much. By the way, the only reason she was looking up in the first place, was because I had an apple in my other hand. Otherwise, she would be happily have continued shredding her stick, making weird faces ![]() The second is part of a series of around 20. The idea was to do a panorama stich on some of them, showing the run in all its steps of motion. First time around Capture one decided to mess things up, understandably, as it isn't meant to work with subjects in motion. A second try made it work. Edited by fennetje - 12 March 2023 at 21:40 |
