Interesting imaged, s.khai. Placing the top horizontal edge of the stonework paralleling and below the horizon works well. I wonder if a little more distance between the two would have worked even better. I'm not as sure about the placement of the horizon at the center; it leaves an awful lot of sky that doesn't do anything to support the image. I think placing the horizon at the upper 2/3 level would have been stronger. Still, a very interesting image; well worth reshooting and trying different approaches.

thanks wross!! i do have an image of what u mentioned. sadly, because it was low tide, had i turned it down a little more, it would show a less than interesting sandy foreground which looks out of place. thus i decided to stick with this shot.

but will keep ur suggestion in mind and have a reshoot when im free!
