...problem is I was shooting yesterday and it was rainy and overcast the whole time. For my taste in infrared images, these are not good conditions; you can't capture the bright whites in the greens that give images the high contrast look I like in infrared. But it was a fun day shooting with a friend and talking photography and baseball (the World Series in the U.S. is pretty much like the World Cup to the rest of the world).

A wonderful addition to your forthcoming coffee table book, Roger....
Love the presentation and rendering. All most appealing but my favourites are the last 3.
Keep them coming.

A great set of images, Roger - with the exception of #4 they are similar to what you posted lately.

I think #4 is a really outstanding B/W image, not only in this set. Your composition and finally your choice of PP packs a fine sense of mystery into this image. That's an image of a forest which I have never seen before - and it is a striking one: great photography IMHO!

TFS!

Thanks all for commenting. Yes, the last saved the day, a "save" being a very important baseball event as well.

That's true Roger, but in my experience IR lends itself well for cloudy weather too, which can provide dramatic cloudy skies. It may be a matter of taste of course.
Anyhow, this is another fine set, and for me #4 is the standout too.

Fred, absolutely correct. I do not know what is happening scientifically but IR unquestionably provides more dramatic skies right out of the camera. In the best of shooting conditions, a partly cloudy sky with openings for the sun to shine through is visually great to my eye.
