Feel free to start one and start contributing.
I agree that a plain trees/plants/vegetation themed thread would be more useful but that's just my opinion.
More Dyxumer, less photographer.

What is wrong with "did you hug a tree today"? it is easy to find, unlike the street artists thread that is called "Busker at work" - I think most non-native speakers have no clue what busker means. Oh let me once again promote "Street artists: Buskers at work".

So, I like the name "did a tree today", please keep it

Not sure I understand your problems, isn't there a Trees (3) as well as a Street artists: Busker at Work (1) thread.
Check the index again

Thanks for the link, but when I searched the index there was definitely no entry for Trees.

I don't think there is a theme for shots we take in our front/back gardens/lawns. Could I start one or is it too presumptuous of me to imagine a lot people have gardens attached to their house? (its certainly more common here in UK)

There are at least two older garden themes which I dug out in the back and could be slightly renamed and revived again:

But if you want to have a complete new fresh start Anand, then feel free to kick it off

The "did you hug a tree today" thread was there, it now just is renamed trees.

When you create that thread, I might add a picture of my back garden - not that it is interesting, but I have a picture of it somewhere

Formal gardens not allowed? There are a lot of those also in the UK!

Not quite what I am after I want a more generic one. You'll see
But if you want to merge them together then that's fine too.
