Sounds fine.

I'd suggest a few intrepid souls try it out first and then we could try to get a bigger group together...

A practical point - can we send a message to multiple recipients with the PM system? It looks like it does only one at a time.

Zoom has a limit of 200 participants. I'm not sure but I believe teams is more limited.
I would gladly participate on something like this.
