During a photo trip I met someone with a (for me) unknown Sony camera.
Type / model of both the body or lens I could not see.
Maybe someone else can tell whether it might be a completely new model, NEX or SLT.

Well, its an Alpha. Its labeled a ZA lens. I'm intrigued by the inclusion of OSS on the lens on an Alpha mount. I had thought that that would never happen....

In hindsight, it also has an "E" marker. Confusing. Could be the new NEX - the ILC-3000. You should shoot this over to SAR. They'll go crazy for it.

I think that might be the new Alpha 3000 : see here
Mounted seems to be the new rumoured (or announced) ZA 16-70/4 lens. The most interesting part of the picture I find the letters "OSS" on the front ring, meaning Zeiss probably produced it's first in-lens stabilized zoom.

They let you pretty close and taking that picture, so apparently there's no more NDA's in place.

The man behind the camera

In his hands, the camera is small.

Gustav is an expert welder and Sony associate photog who takes some great kingfisher photos (and also great pictures of other stuff) aka ijsvogel...

Camera looks like it might be rather a boon to anyone interested in shooting with old MF lenses.
