Dear Dyxumers,
Two equally good photos were running for the prize this time: only one point of difference between them! That's pity that the winner can only be one ...
The photo which almost won the competition and well deserves the Honourable Mention is "Conception" by napo ![]() Congratulations to Leo and George for their fantastic work and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ... Happy shooting, MiPr |

Two distinct images, both excellent -- congrats to Leo for his one-point win.

Well done both. A very classic style still life as winner, and a tongue in cheek interpretation from Napo which probably made most of us smile.
My question to Napo... if you picture were 'real', what kind of creature would be created if a conception actually occurred??? Perhaps a chicken you could plant in your garden? ![]() |

F-Stop? F-Stopped! Anyone know how to get it going again???My Flickr

This feels very good!
![]() I was so pleased that I captured this image. I could hardly believe it when I saw it: it was a perfect composition of light and shadow made by the sun; a moment of magic and it was gone in a few minutes. George, your Conception is a brilliant shot, and it wouldn't have felt like losing if you had taken the prize. ![]() |

It's not surprising these too pics scored so closely. I would guess that 3rd, 4th etc weren't far behind.
What a fine competition! A big hand to Leo and Napo ![]() |

Well done to both participants for showing us two highly individualistic and entertaining images - as has been said already, so close to call and both worthy here of being shown again. Well done Leo and napo
