Congrats to Darosa - an artistic approach to the subject.
And also to the 2 HM's as well.

Congratulations Leo - excellent composition and beautifully processed.
And Stevo, I really like the way your more journalistic shot capturing life going on at the zoo.

As for me; I'm very chuffed as this is the first time I've appeared on one of these pages, but I can't help feeling that right place at the right time is the main factor.

Actually the previous shot to this one fills in a bit of the story - the boy had been knelt at the glass saying hello to the snow leopard - it was only as he got up and turned away that the leopard leapt at the window and startled him. But it looked to me as though the leopard wasn't trying to attack him, but was just sad to see him go

Very surprised and very pleased.
Thank you all!

And special thanks to Nappa for pointing out that I had misidentified these graceful Springbok as Impala ...

Congrats to Stevo and Tim. Excellent shots showing how photogenic zoos are.

And Tim: as tigertimb you can read cats like no other and that snow leopard may have been sad but still, I'm very happy that glass wall was there.

Well done darosa and Tim well deserved and thank you admins for the honourable mention. Pretty chuffed seeing as it was my first ever entry into a DPC.

Congratulations to all! Wonderful images. Darosa, your "Springbok" image is truly striking. "Feeding the Mob", and "Surprise" tell a great story.
