This subforum is for sharing images only!!

Discussion of any kind ISN'T allowed here (we have a dedicated lens talk area for this purpose) and all comments or discussion about lens performance will be deleted without warning.

The only thing that should be written is info related to the image posted, and if necessary link to full size versions.

Only admin and moderators are allowed to open new threads.

Threads subjects will be in the form of lens name (as presented in our lens database).

As soon we open a new thread for a particular lens, we will add a link to this thread within our lens database detail page.

Once a new thread is open, you are invited to submit images (and image data) taken with the lens in question ONLY. Please, post only images with the lens named in the thread subject !!

No image size restrictions.

We do however encourage all members to post links to full size images if they can, if possible without any post processing. This will be very helpful judging lens performance. Full size means 1024 pixels wide for a horizontal and 900 pixels deep for a vertical.

If you do have full size images hosted try providing thumbs with links to full size images to help visitors with slower internet connections.

100% crops are allowed; we even encourage you to provide them.


Please, include at least most basic info about the images you are submitting; camera used, focal range, aperture opening, shutter speed and ISO values are the most important ones.



Whether you should post processed images or not it's up to each of you. However, keep in mind that primary purpose of this subforum is to present lens capabilities and not yours as a photographer or photoshop master.

We hope that images submitted will cover most aspects of a lens performance (sharpens, distortion, flare, bokeh, application etc.) With this in mind, please don't worry about overall image quality (this isn't a competition) but rather that image submitted do tell something about the lens.

We will not open new, dedicated threads for all lenses found in our database at one time.

Instead you are invited to request opening of the thread for a particular lens here (in this thread) and we will start a new thread as soon as possible. Once a new, requested thread is opened, requesting post will be deleted to make easier future request.


We may eventually add selected images to our lens database. Submitting your images here you agree to use this images for our lens database detail pages if needed.


If you wish, you can add your signatures or other copyright notes to your images. All copyright will remain only yours and if requested and you will be always in position to delete your images submitted for this purpose.

With time, you may find hard finding the thread devoted to particular lens. In this case the easiest way to find appropriate thread is to visit detail lens page within our lens database and click "Forum sample images" link.

Please, don't use this thread for discussing this subforum and how does it work. Use this thread instead.
