Continuing on my recent posts from my travels through the Balkans, then Naples and the Aeolian Islands (some in Open Views, others here in "Show Us Cities ..."), here are some photos taken in Cefalu in Sicily.
Typifies the multi-layered history of Sicily, with its Norman Cathedral incorporating both Romanesque and Moorish architectural elements, and the interior adorned with gold mosaics created by Byzantine craftsmen.
All a99 and CZ 24-70mm Vario-Sonar ZA. EXIF embedded. C&C welcome.

Nice series which brings back some memories (thanks!) from April 2009 when I visited Cefalu with my family. The beach in #12 was pretty much empty then even though it was a hot day as we climbed to the top of 'La Rocca' for the great view from the top.

@diletane and Anita, thanks for adding your images.
Love the image taken from the top of 'La Rocca', and the photo of the outside of the golden lit city walls reflected in the water.
And Anita's telephoto shot of the bathers at the foot of the gritty looking walls. Great image.
