Not to mention all the ponts du diable / devil's bridges that are scattered around. We have a Grim's dyke in Oxfordshire too.

Thanks for the response: I posted some more photos, mostly drone shots, at https://greyarro.ws/t/the-devils-quoits-stanton-harcourt-oxfordshire/74769. It's interesting to note that altgough the site may be 4-5000 years old, what we see now was reconstructed in the early C21.

Nice spot Howard. Always amazes me how many of these sites get named after the Devil. Antonine wall here was called `Grims` Dyke after him, theres the devils elbow, beeftub, pulpit, chimney, staircase and countless other ancient manmade or geographical sites and monuments that he gets a mention in.
