Dear Dyxumers,

The vote counting is finished and I am pleased to announce the photo which won the competition this time . It was an easy winner, almost 4 times as many points as the two HM's who ended ex-equo with the same number of points.

“Compact cassettes” by waldo_posth

This time the Honourable Mention award goes to two photos which got exactly the same number of points (listed in order of appearance):

“Isa-ban” by brian33

and

“Broken frame glass fixed and photo usable” by Klick-Klack

Congratulations to the winner and the HMs and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC ...

Happy shooting, and don't forget to enter in the next DPC's

Congratulations to Brian and Klick-Klack for their original contributions.

My thank goes to all those who have voted for my image.

It depicts a window of the Christus Pavilion which was originally built for the EXPO 2000 in Hannover by the German architect Meinhard von Gerkan and later has been disassembled and moved to the Volkenroda monastery. The windows of the pavilion are filled with all kinds of everyday objects - e.g. plastic spoons, light bulbs ... and compact cassettes.

Great winning image and run pretty close by the other tow 'HM's' as well.

Well done to all that entered a tough DPC theme this time!

Best regards, Neil.

Just now saw this! Great win and I'm quite honored to be counted among the HMs!

waldo_posth you've got a very compelling image for that you can spend much time looking at, checking out the little differences from one cassette to the next in terms of position of the tape, the "BASF", etc. And of Klick-Klack's image nails it for the humor.

I am happy to have received a honourable mention.

Congratulation to the winner of this competition 'waldo_posth' and also to 'brian33' for his HM!
Also want to thank pegelli for his time spend to organize and evaluate DPC #259 and do all the necessary work in the background.
