Run away!

DSC00972 by Johan Olsson, on Flickr

Watched this bloke walk out on the rocks, turn his back, raise a phone for a selfie and finding himself near thigh deep in water from a wave. Snapped a quick shot as he hauled arse out of the spot....30 seconds later a massive wave rolled across that would of had him neck deep!

Never turn your back to the ocean!

Like the first one. The two huts on the left are not that interesting - I was thinking maybe you should crop them out (making the picture 4x3 which I hate...) or maybe there was a red door next to the blue and green doors. Even a yellow door would be fine.

Having said this, I like the picture as it is as well, so, TFS!

How about this? Cropped to 3:2 and I also tidied up the verticals. Also the white balance looked a bit off.

You win or you learn, I seem to be doing a lot of learning....

Peter, I think you pointed the camera down slightly and that gave the image a bit of negative keystone effect and made the church lean left. What you can try to straighten the church and keep the horizon level is a little positive adjustment of the "vertical" slider in the Transform panel

Thanks Waldo_posth. What keeps bothering me is the church leaning to the left. Rotated it a bit to the right to make it look better but now the horizon is leaning slightly to the right. I can't get it right in Lightroom...
