Samples: Volna-9 50mm F2.8

mount: M42
format: FF
year: Unkonwn
max aperture: 2.8
min aperture: 16
elements/group: Unknown
aperture blades: 6
min focus distance (mm): 200
filter diameter (mm): 52
length (mm): 68
weight (g): 350

additional information:
Very little is known about this particular lens. This lens seems to be a macro lens derived from standard Planar design. It has a preset aperture similar to that of Helios 44-2 and the Pentacon 30mm f3.5. The front element is deeply berried into the barrel like the Minolta AF macros. Max magnification ratio is 1:2. LZOS (Lytkarino Optical Glass Factory) seems to have made all copies of this lens. The apertures have a peculiar shape, they are star-shaped until f11 when they become hexagonal, and becomes round at f16.

This thread is open for C&C and for posting additional pictures. Please ONLY post pictures taken with the lens in the title- or start a new thread.
Please state camera, version of the lens and adapter in your post!

Nice to see it here, shows the sharpness and colour.I used to have one.

Absolute creamy bokeh if you can nail focus wide open and the famous star bokeh around f5.6 to f8
