As the previous poster said, this has got to be the coolest gas station

Wonderfully clean images, #3 and #7 are favourites for me.

Stu.

Those are nice images to relax after a hard day of work.

(why would you want to use tilt-shift on this? you have one, it's your lensbaby? IMHO it's the ultimate WA subject? i.e. the more that shows, the more I love them! and I love them!).

Joe- $5-a-day? luckily you must have missed the dreaded Keukenhof then. (although I've never been there ).
IMHO the endless tulip fields are much nicer, from land or water. as Fred is about to show us in his city thread about the Alkmaar area ...some day? can't wait!
(in Gouda they have sleds too btw. once a week during the warmer season).

Thanks Ine! Yeah, the city thread is still on my list,I promise it will come one day

What is your concern about the rain Coast? This is ready for the future, and with the climate change ongoing, the rain is being diverted to southern Europe If not, these are just big funnels catching the rain and leading it to the drain

Anyway, it makes for a striking set of images, and you've really created some that are very beautiful. I'm particularly taken by ##2, 3 and 5.
As for Alkmaar, that name rings a bell as I visited it 40 years ago on my first grand tour of Europe, guided by Frommer's "Europe of $5 a day" as the site of the colourful ancient cheese market with the rounds of Gouda and Edam portered around on wooden sleds.
TFS.

Thanks Joe! The cheese market is still there on Friday during the summer season.
