It just stayed there as I took a series of photographs. It was quite cold so maybe that slowed him (or her) down.

Did it fly as fas as a hummingbird, how did you get so close?

For those who hadn't seen these in Open Views
A Hummingbird Moth in my home












Watching these "bugs" perform outside as hummingbirds and then seeing them up close;
I love the exquisite form and beauty of their wings, I conclude, they are another of Natures masterpieces
