A new film challenge is being mooted. I started a thread here where you are welcome to join in the discussion with ideas for something after the New Year.

Post update - 8 Jan 19.

List of Expressions of Interest is removed since enough have said they are willing to get involved. Hooray!

No need to register, just get shooting with your film cameras and post your favoured third of each roll here.

Let the fun begin............. we will know you are participating when we see your pictures. Later in the year we will close the challenge and have a gallery of sorts to showcase your favourites.

Hmm, 1/3 keepers! That's a high bar. My best is maybe 1/4 keepers,

I'm debating whether to join. I'm sure I could do at least one roll, 9 decent shots!

@neilt3 ... ha, brilliant. OK, I'm in too. I've been shooting film semi-randomly lately, maybe a roll every 3 months, so this will work. It's my "keepers" yield that I worry about, LOL.

BTW, Neil ... I jumped into your Flickr gallery and noticed hockey shots. My kids play hockey here in California -- a growing youth sport, not typical. Is hockey very popular there?

I have some film bodies gathering dust perhaps I could get one out and put a roll through it. I have no idea what my processing options are apart from buying a tank and chemicals - something I haven't done for several decades. Might be fun though!

I shall now go and google 'Lomo Purple'!

My in-laws followed the 100% keeper rule, so there were plenty of cropped heads in their albums. My wife's grandfather was a very good photographer and knew Frank Sutcliffe, the Whitby photographer, but his talent didn't filter down.

I've not shot film for a long time, so I'll have a go at this.

I checked the rules and wondered if an Instax would be allowed?
At the price per photo ... you'd certainly concentrate!

(focus, well, sort of in focus!)
2005 = Dynax 7D and various prime lenses and Maxxum 7D
then I moved to Nikon, then I added some Olympus
30-Nov-2018 = Panasonic G80 + 12-35/2.8 <<< planning to shoot with just this camera/lens in 2019
