Thanks Simon and Harald. Yes, these look very good in real life. What always wondered me is how well these perform on the track. Even with some having 1000 or 1300 cc. The 1600 and 2000 cc cars are really quick, imagine 220 BHP and only 689 kgs - in 1964.
The FIAT 2300 S was treated by Abarth too, but is a bit too big and heavy for racing. Don't think there was a special series for it, maybe privateers used it for GT and rallying.

Wonderful collection - of images!

Has there been a racing series featuring the Fiat 2300 Coupe? #5 is an amazing shot to see them all lined up.

TFS, Michele!

You can't beat italian cars for classic style imo, these cars are beautiful! Photographically I like the repeating patterns and the light on the last, super shot.
You win or you learn, I seem to be doing a lot of learning....

Last Saturday i could find some time to visit the Guy Moerenhout Abarth Museum in Lier, Belgium. He has a large collection of many rare Abarth cars.

1. Abarth 750 Coupe Zagato 1957

2. The front room (the Gold one is the Abarth Scorpione 1300 1968)

3. FIAT Topolino

4. Abarth double camshaft engine (think it is the 1000 cc)

5. FIAT's 2300 S Coupe in a row
