Your daughter I assume. Does she 'eyeball' you a lot? Hopefully only the positive kind eh?! That's a keeper for her 21st birthday slide show

Very provocative; this image asks a lot of questions with that look in her eyes and the background 'action'

I really like this although I might have used a reflector at a more acute angle to cast more of her face in shadow.

Jodie and I spent a few hours on the Port Hills looking for the perfect shot for her boyfriend, a fisherman who could be at sea for months.
In between Christchurch City and Lyttelton Town are the Port Hills. These imposing rocky ranges were a significant barrier for the European pioneers who settled in the area from about 1800.
The Port Hills have become a signifier for the area and, many Lyttelton and Christchurch residents would identify these ranges as 'their' Mountains.

Working from The Port Gallery and Zone 3 Photo Studio, I spent around 4 hours shooting Michelle's portrait. For this shot I had her lie in the still waters of Lyttelton harbour and spread her hair around her. The surrounding dried flowers were added later by re-shooting the printed portrait with the arrangement.
She loved this one and a few of the others. It was a perfect day.

We shot some fairly straight full length images as well as close ups. Lighting was natural with a big white reflector.

Excellent Francis, very good connection with the viewer so you did an outstanding job as the photographer. Also light and composition is spot on.
