Been a long while since I last had a day out birding, too much bushfire smoke and silly season has got in the way so it was nice to once again to have a morning out. Even if the day started with finding my select spot due to bushfire danger, can see why as it's bone dry out in the bush.

Superb Lyrebird doing it's best "ministry of silly walks" impersonation.
