Samples: Leica Telyt M 200/4.0

mount: M 39, M-mount via ring OUBIO / 16466 M
format: FF
year: 1958-1984
max aperture: 4.0
min aperture: 22
elements/group: 4/4
aperture blades: 20
min focus distance (mm): 300
filter diameter (mm): 58
length (mm): 101 (without OUBIO)
weight (g): 625 (without caps)

additional information:
This lens was preceded by a Telyt 200/4.5.

The lens was designed for use on the M-bodies via the Visoflex mirror box. The bare lens has an M39 thread for use on the Visoflex 1, and with an additional ring OUBIO/16466M (M39 to M-mount) on the Visoflex 2 and Visoflex 3.

When used on a mirrorless Sony body an extra extension of ~41,5 mm is needed to compensate for the lack of visoflex mirrorbox (with ring OUBIO) or 62 mm (M39 direct)

This thread is open for C&C and for posting additional pictures. Please ONLY post pictures taken with the lens in the title- or start a new thread.
Please state camera, version of the lens and adapter in your post!

Another lucky score, a 1958 Leica Telyt 200/4. incl. ring OUBIO, shipping and auction cost far below 100 . Today was the first test in our garden.
Serial # of the lens is 1612244 which according to this page should have been a 200 mm F4.5. However it's really the f4.0, since the F4.5 version looks totally different (smaller diameter, longer, no retractable hood etc.). So it's a very early production sample, or maybe even a test sample before the main production started.

1: Funny birds

2: Stone doggy

3: Cement roses

All wide open (f 4.0) on an A7ii
