The first thing I did after getting my a7R IV was buying Gary's book... It helped me to get use of the new features and functions, and I still use it as a reference book whenever I look for specific function. It is easier to find the function in the book (I have the e-book available on my phone) than find it in the camera's menus (and for every function, the book specify it's location in the menus)...
