This year seems to be wrapping up fairly promptly; last year had a couple of stragglers in January!

Glad another one made it!
Only one to recieve and one to be confirmed for me

Hmmm ... looks like two of my original five have not landed as yet; if you're still short one from me in mid-November, please DM and I'll send a replacement. And I still have a couple of extras and some stamps ...

Hi Roger, gee it looks like it's had a bit of a rough trip in getting to you! Glad to hear you like the image though. It was posted the day after writing it. 32 days would seem long in any other year...
Cheers, Greg

gregja's card arrived yesterday. I can't read a date on the post card but Greg's handwritten note includes the date of 27 September. If that was the date of posting, then it took 33 days to get from Sydney to Tallahassee on the east side of the U.S.    A few scuff marks on the front which shows an almost abstract geometric architecture shot (I like this style a lot) of the Green Square Library in the south of Sydney. Thanks Greg.

Great, another to hear another one has crossed the ocean!
That brings my score on 7 out of 8 received and 6 out of 8 confirmed.

Good to hear you like the card Roger and that it made you think (and move )
Stay healthy and safe!

Received yesterday from Fred_S this superb image. IR but what makes it for me is the very low angle of view. I love learning from other's images and this was a great reminder to me of a saying I use to repeat to myself while shooting: "Get high, get low." When I go out to shoot I carry one of two things with me, a kayak if I am going to be around water, or a ladder to get up higher. Thus, I do get up several feet on many occasions, however, the effect is not nearly as dramatic as getting very low. I had unconsciously moved away from getting low, probably because I am 74 and getting up from being low is a LOT harder than getting down from being high. Fred_S's image will get me back on the ground.

The post mark is smudged. It appears it was mailed either on the 13th or the 18th which meant it took either 16 days to arrive or 11. It is in pristine shape with only the tiniest bit of damage in the upper left. I now have received all five of my cards; a very fun experience. Thanks to all for participating.

Yes I liked the stamp myself, was almost tempted to keep it myself
Then I felt it went nicely with the picture on the postcard.

Received last Weds. from KoBra64, a view of the Groningen Museum:

I like the way it is composed, with the strong verticals of the museum over the river. The building has a strong monolithic, symbolic look to it. Thank you!

And I received this on Saturday, from nandbytes, with a thought-provoking comment and an excellent stamp:

Thank you!
