Let me start with some first pics of mini DM I had with Domien (Dopol) in the Amsterdamse Waterleiding Duinen last Saturday.
It's great nature dune area, famous for the deer and foxes.

We only spotted one fox, and didn't capture that, but there was of other nive views to shoot.
We made an early start, starting at dusk, hoping for a nice sunset.

For me it was my first visit here, so relied on Domien as a guide. Also it was my first wildlife shoot, but a great way to practice.

A warning in advance though. With only two members, there may be less variety in this post then a report from a DM with 10 members doing a city walk, but we'll see.

No traditional group shot this time, we simply forgot it.

F1 A mysterious look from the birches at dusk

F2 Enough female attention for two handsome guys entering the park early in the morning

F3 A view over one of the waters

F4 We think this was a pike, staying still in the current. It was at least 60cm I guess.

F5 Looks like a painting. Still a bit dusk, so high at ISO and longer shutter times. Time to get out the monopod... Nevertheless, I like this one.

All with A99ii and 70-400G, except the landscape (A7R2 + 16-35mm ZA-SSM on LA-EA3)

Obviously more to come.
Looking forward to your first shots Domien!

Great start Fred.
I didn't have time so far, but I'll try to catch up.
F2 and F5 do give a painterly feel. They're lovely.

Very beautiful scenery and nice results from you mini DM. It's worthwile to get up early to catch the morning light. Love the birches at dusk (F1) the river in the morning light (D2) and the quite close deers, esp. F5 and F9. TFS

The running gag was that you had to push the deer back, to assure they were outside your Minimal Focus Distance.

Lots of Fallow deer there

They come in different colors
D7 Medium and light

D8 Dark

They come in different grouping

D9 Does that had Bambi's this year

D10 Does that are too young to mate

D11 Bucks that are to young to successfully fight

D12 But you have to try

D13 Bucks that wanted to but didn't cut it (yet)

D14 Or are almost there

They come in different ages
D15

D16

D17

Bucks that successfully gathered does . .
D18 . . And are relaxed about it

And it's all fun to watch
TFL
All photos with A9 and 100400GM

Great shots Domien! Some similar to my own, but that's not e real surprise.
Your D19 is a wider viee of my F5.
Are D9 and D14 intentionally equal?

For the variety I'll go with some more landscapes no (and come back with some moor deer in a next post).

F10 There comes the sun

F11 Red

F12 Sunrise

F13 All quiet

F14 Same place as D2

F15 Sunrise 2

F16 Lock

F17 My take on D4 (on our way back)

F10-15 A7R2 + 16-35 ZA SSM on LA-EA3
F16-17 A99ii + 70-400G
