I managed to end up with quite a Vectis set while searching for the 400 reflex (rare and expensive 17 and the 25-150 are missing) and am eagerly awaiting supply of my adapter to put them to ill use.

It'll probably be a bit later than that , the croud funding things still got a month to run , then they'll order the parts they need that they don't make themselves .
Then they've to assemble and test them , before sending them out .

Maybe it's time to dust off my surplus Vectis lenses and get them on ebay for greatly inflated prices over what they cost me !
The most i paid for a lens would be the two 17mm lenses I own that I paid less than £50 for one and the other came with an DiMage RD-3000 .

I think I posted some images from the Vectis lenses when I reviewed them , but there not on lenses sample shot forum .

I've got quite a few to to put on a themed view and will be happy to add more when the adapter arrives .

This version is capable of firmware updates , whereas the v1 isn't . So it's highly unlike that my version could be updated .
It'll work fine on my a7Riv , albeit not all lenses cover the full frame .
It'll be interesting to see how it functions on the NEX 7 .
It might mean getting a later a6*** as my pocket camera next year .

I shall wait and see .

What would be nice would be if they made a firmware update available for the original adapter .
It should be possible as it does drive the lenses AF motor .
When you turn the camera off , the AF resets to infinity .

I'm not one to frequent Sony alpha rumours site , but someone posted this link on DPR .

It looks like an Autofocus unit might soon be available.

Regarding the list of supported lens , it seems wrong to me though as the 25-150mm F4.5-6.3 and 28-56mm F4-5.6 cannot be manually focussed .

Thanks for the clarification, I have noted this on their Facebook page.

I have the original monster adapter and it would have been nice if the 25-150mm worked on it .
Unfortunately it's internal focus with no manual focus so you can't even twist the end of the lens to focus like the telephoto lenses .
