Nope, not in the North, here this week brought winter back in form of blizzard (I did post few pictures of that, but these did not make into this week's selection), but apparently the more southern parts of the northern hemisphere are already enjoying springtime.

And congrats to all those who got their pictures included.

This is an especially nice Friday set. But, the POTW is over-the-top spectacular. We see many flower and butterfly (or insect) images so it is very hard to stand out from the crowd in this genre. EVERYTHING about this image is wonderful - the location of the butterfly on the flower (either incredible patience by francis or incredible luck but it makes no difference), the composition, the light, the choice of depth-of-field, the muted yet strong color, the curves.
