On my MC Rokkor 58mm f1.2, I use the Minolta metal hood from the MC Rokkor-X 80-200mm f4.5 lens. Minolta's lens shades were great but they were always a little too wide for the lens. To fix this, I use the next longer lens shade. For example, I use the 28mm shade on my 24mm lens, the 35mm shade on my 28mm lens, etc.

In your situation, you can find a shade of a similar size and shape with a 55mm thread. If it's Minolta, fine. If not, does it matter?

You could try to pull it over a conical shape of the right diameter.
You can see the April Foolishness 2021 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

After searchin it for years,I've found it
The original hood or my Rokkor 58mm 1.2
It's the model MC 58mm 1.2
Almost like new except in one point isn't perfectly round, maybe it had some hurt during years
Some advice to replace the original round shape?
It's aluminium I presume,of course I do not want to damage it
Thanks
