Thanks. I'll let him know and get some specifics. There was what I thought was a great Miranda bellows setup on GOODWILL a while ago, but he had no interest. It sold for "pennies", in my opinion.
And, much to my surprise, he was interested in this M42 to Miranda adapter. I guess they are unusual:

No, I'm neither of those, but I do have a large collection of original Miranda stuff, some boxed, and most of the cameras they made. I'd be happy to part with most of it so send me a PM with details of your friend's wants and I'll reply.
I do have a very nice extreme macro setup I used for a '50' challenge here a few years ago with the expensive bellows and short-barrel 135mm telephoto that fits it.

Of course I do -- when they do!

I've helped lots of people on this Forum -- and others (see below) -- and I don't expect anything in return.

Read some of your replies to others on this thread and more. The ones that are disrespectful, impolite, condescending or just plain rude are the snarky remarks.

I'm not about to post examples of them , you work it out .

I learnt my manners when I was a child off my parents, and I'll leave it at that .

I started with Minolta A mount cameras when I got a used 7000AF in the early 90's .
No internet then , so finding anything out was much more difficult, now two minutes on Google tends to answer any question you have .

I use the list you provided a link too since I found it after I went digital with the Sony a100 I got when it came out in 2006 .
It's really handy as a quick look on it tells you if a specific adapter is possible .
If one isn't readily available there's a few firms can make one for you .

Glassless A-mount adapters for regular 35mm DSLR-lenses are very limited because of flange distance and diameter constrains.

Basically there are just 3:
M42 (Pentax m42 tread mount")
T-mount/T2 (old Tamron mount, but frequently used for adapting bellows, telescopes and microscopes)
Adaptall (newer, but still a rather old Tamron mount)

(I don't think any Vivitar/Soligor TX-mount or T4 adapter ever was made for Minolta-A.)

Glassless adapters for Minolta SR-mount (MC and MD lenses) may be used for macro only as they will not focus at or near infinity.

However, there are several adapters for medium format lenses to add to this list. (Take a look at
fotodioxpro.com/collections/lens-mount-adapters/sony-a-mount
)

Adapters with glass are basically teleconverters with two different mounts. Several lens mounts can be adapted to allow mounting on A-mount cameras this way, including Nikon F and Minolta SR. Minolta made two types for SR. However, the image is degraded by the glass in the adapter and function (aperture) will be limited.

Among the more interesting adapters/converters with glass are the two types of the old "Sigma AF 1.6x multi converter" (MD-MA and AI-MA) for adapting Minolta SR or Nikon F lenses to A-mount and give those manual focus lenses a limited autofocus on all A-mount cameras.

just a question: do you appreciate people trying to help you? Maybe just add a "thank you" to your replies. Politeness goes a long way. Think about it.

I never saw such list. I doubt such list could be made. But of course I could be wrong.

It seems that people are always looking for lists of one thing or another, as you know. And there are a ton of them out there, such as PHOTOCORNUCOPIA which has an extensive list of all the enlarging lenses -- new and old. And I've put together plenty of lists myself, such as all the large format lenses that FUJI ever made:

http://www.subclub.org/fujinon/byfl.htm

But I doubt I will create an lens adapter list for the cameras (and lenses) that are specific to me.

I use T-mounts and M42 adapters for the lenses that are of that type, and other adapters as well. And I've made plenty of adapters too -- such as getting a Mamiya/Sekor RB67 37mm f4.5 fisheye onto large format cameras. I recently got a like-new Tamron 38mm f2.5 projector lens and devised a focusing adapter for my Minolta and Sony cameras.

So thanks for the links. I'll continue to delve into this pit, and report back if I find anything of any use.

And on an aside, I keep my eye open for interesting MIRANDA gear for a friend. I just ran across a couple of items that he is not interested in at GOODWILL, but perhaps you are:

And as I said before, a lot of adapters are available via M42 as an intermediate, and some of us have bought chipped M42 adapters which are useful on MF lenses.

If you want lists, there are some here and also this list may be useful, though it's the 'wrong' way.

In general, it is easier to search for a particular adapter when you know what you're trying to adapt to what than to find or create a complete list of what adapters are available.

You can find adapters to E-mount from almost everything (yes, even Miranda bayonet and 'c' mount ...), and if you're into weird/old/classic MF lenses that's the way to go - google it and buy it. So I really don't see what purpose a list of them would serve, apart from providing entertainment to those who enjoy making lists.

Well , you've already figured out there doesn't seem to be a list anywhere , as both asking and presumably you've also tried doing a search for one has drawn a blank .

There's already been a few posts trying to help you and stating known adapters.
So maybe it's time to stop making snarky remarks to people trying to help you and go figure it out yourself .
Just a thought .
