Morning all and Merry Christmas!

Does anyone know where I can source a genuine Sony Eye Cup for an A77, the model is FDA-EP12 I believe.
Mine must have fallen off and I can't find it anywhere.

There's a really horrible knock off version available on eBay and Amazon which is a one piece hard plastic thing. I thought I'd sourced one from UK Camera Equipment as the website clearly shows a genuine Sony one - spoiler, it was also the hard plastic knock off so I'll be returning that.

Any ideas?

I should have a spare eye cup somewhere. As I bought one for a A77 I purchased off Ebay that did not have one. The A77 was returned to seller as not working correctly and I kept the eye cup just in case.

I had also the problem, that the eye cups on my a77 II and a99 are not really good hardened on the camera and lost several of them. Specially on the a77 II it was a little bit lose, so I have also tried to proper fix it with an adhesive tape between the eye cup and the camera body.

I have bought some no name eye cups via ebay
The third party parts was a little harder compared to the orignal ones. But, was OK for me.

As you can see from the fact that the FDA-A1AM can be used with almost all A/E-Mount cameras, there is a high degree of commonality in viewfinder accessory mounting rails.
I recommend trying newer eyecups with a locking mechanism.
After losing it once, I did.

That’s interesting I hadn’t considered that.
I finally found a genuine Sony one on eBay. Might investigate some others though

The eye cup of my A7r4 fits my A77m2 fine, so, you could look for a FDA-EP18.
