Never too late . I'd forgotten I hadn't had my film developed from a year ago !

I've bought this year three later Minolta SR lenses , a 28mm f/2 that I didn't know existed , that I'll like seeing how it compares with my AF 28mm f/2 .
A 58mm f/1.2 and the 250mm Reflex (mirror) lens .

Quick test shots on the a7Riv look good , but I'm giving them a full run out on my Minolta X500 with some colour film and looking forward to seeing the results .

There's a good amount of very good quality lenses out there that still work well on modern cameras .

Sorry for the late entry, i just saw this post

Sony A7r with Auto ROKKOR-PF 1:1.8 f=55mm bearing S/N 1101229 so likely from late 1958 or early 1959

Convinced me that i should sell the Sony Zeiss 55mm F 1.8 which at the time of these pictures was 55 years younger than the ROKKOR

@ F1.8 showing slight softness at the edges and a little vignetting

@ F 5.6 very sharp all around and no more vignetting

Thank you.

We have got a 2023/2024 film challenge going at the moment , so if you've got an SR mount cameras or A mount SLR , get it loaded and post the images in the film challenge

In fact , if your film gear isn't either of them , get out shooting anyway and show us your results !

O.k , a year late as I've just remembered I hadn't developed the film !
So had it developed and scanned along with the roll out of my Dynax 9 I've just finished .
Rather than posting them on the daily threads as per the challenge , I'll just post them here .
The first set is from my weeks holiday while this challenge was in last March , and were taken on a bicycle ride top Grappenhall Heys , Warrington .
I used the all black Minolta XD-7 and lenses were a Cosina 20mm f/3.8 MC , a Minolta Auto Tele Rokkor-QE 100mm f/3.5 and a Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm f/1.4 .
