Super image by SnowFella - I hope that spider was smaller than it seems to be in the image! Well worth the PotW award for proximity if nothing else!

I'm also really pleased to have a Tangle Creek image featured this week; after so long wondering what the fuss was all about it's a nice reward for me finally understanding the 'fuss'!

Well done to everyone else - another strong weeks work.

Best regards, Neil.

A great collection of varied scenes and creativity by our photographers. Well done . That's a great angle of view for the Lycosid in the picture of the week also, @SnowFella is a deserved winner.

I also like that my first venture out with my new a1 sufficed to get included in this weeks Gallery Exhibition

Good also to see @Fran's Mount Kazbegi getting included here.

Great week, lead off by that big Wolf Spider.
(And yes, Neil, these can be big - growing up to 8cm, and can be a bit aggressive, although not deadly to humans like the Funnel Web).
As always a diverse and inspirational gallery.
Thanks and congrats to all.

Wow, did not expect that out of my little excursion into spider herding!

Cracking week from everone, loving "Mount Kazbegi" by Fran.

@Owenn01: it's a little one, no more than an inch across and relatively harmless.
