My second card arrived today, another coastal scene from Roger Rex

Severe scuffing I'd say, and I'd love to see the original. Together with the stick and the marks, and the indistinct breaking wave (yet the gulls are sharp) I'm not sure what's going on, but it feels like a Dali landscape at first glance.

But it's Oregon at its finest. Thanks, Roger!

My cards are on their way, but I guess that they use snail mail, as I forgot to mark them for airmail .

Thanks, everyone, for posting so many of the postcards that have arrived. For me, so many ideas of places I want to visit now!

-- That building in Potsdam looks like camshafts.
-- The glass museum in Seattle ... I've been meaning to go.
-- The Oregon coast image is so cool ... I haven't spend much time in Oregon

Interesting to see how some stamps have no cancellation mark (like my card to Harm), but my card to Fred has what I expect to see.

I'm at 5 of 9 sent have arrived. I have received one card so far. No rush!

I've received a nice postcard of <name unreadable> Stadium from Waldo_Posth.

It looks like some water spots on the handwritten message and a couple areas got smudged.

It's a very nice image, thank you for sharing it :)

As promised my scans from the three cards received so far

From Bonnville:

Thanks Brian, it seems a good place for photography workshops!
Are you the instructor there?
Bonuspoints for the DPE sign on the back!

From Roger Rex

A beautiful picture and composition Roger. There is a clear scuff mark on the front, but that part of the game here

And from ADub128

My pleasure to organize this with you Art!
A beautiful bouquet. I wish I had a florist as friend!

2 Cards landed today: Adub128 and that from MartyMoose.

Art's skyline of downtown LA

Lots of ink on the front, unfortunately. One little mark in the center, no annoying damage so far.

And some nice words. Most welcome, Art!

MArtyMoose did send me also one building: Garden and Glass Museum in Seattle.

The transportation proces damaged the front with lots of stripes, no stars so far. No further damage visible.

On the backside: only addresses, but I received his already by PM.

2 More to come.

Received my first card yesterday (an extra large one from waldo_posth); 23 September to 2 October, Potsdam to Tallahassee, Florida (US). Hardly a scuff or tear, just a little corner peeling.

Very pleased to see your card arrived safely Art. Regarding the stamps, wef the end of July this year British postage stamps incorporate a perforated barcode and when they were stuck on by the lady in the post office she removed them. Without the barcode they would be invalid and the recipient would have to pay the postage! Nice try though

I'm seeing wavy ink lines at least in the stamp on the right: on the silhouette of His Majesty The King and on the chest of Shirley Bassey. So, I would not try stamp fraud with these...

My second card arrived today, from Waldo_Posth. It's a shot of Sanssouci Palace in Berlin, showing detail of a public bath. Luna and I looked up the palace as suggested, and wow - what an amazing sight. Thank you for sharing Harald!

I received my first card, an "extra" from Brian/@bonneville. It's in very good shape, bigger than 4x6, a 5x7 print. Only some light corner damage and a scuff on the image side that only can be seen if the card is held at an angle.
The stamps, of singer Shirley Bassey, are not canceled, so perhaps could be used again, LOL.

It's a black and white film shot of Willoughby Gallery, near where Brian lives. I love all the little details in the shot -- roof tiles, the foreground plants, clouds above. Thanks, Brian!

Impressive shot, would it be possible to see the original?

I would like to learn how to take such pictures:)

Thanks for the update, Fred. 4 of the 9 postcards I have sent are confirmed arrived -- 2 stayed here in the US, 2 overseas. It feels like the international mail is moving faster this DPE, at least for me.

Dena's Milky Way shots make me want to visit Arkansas one of these days. I wish I had dark skies closer to me ... the Los Angeles-area skies are impressively light-polluted, LOL.
