Some lovely shots here - nice to see several from Oktoberfest. As well as the POTW I particularly liked Alan's Llandudno shot when I first saw it so I'me very pleased to see it recognised here.

POTW by Jonas looks almost 3D. Absolute verification the animal eye AF is spot on at speed.

Wow - great PotW and, after a week completely away on business, such a genuine welcome surprise to see one of mine featured on here!

Also, I have to agree with the inclusion of the Llandudno image; bearing in mind I was also in that location barely 3 weeks ago and didn't see that particular item I'm rather annoyed to have missed it!

Nice to see so many Oktoberfest images here, and thanks for my inclusion. Neil, let me know if you're up here again. We'd made a quick visit to Llandudno after my wife received a text from one of her Austrian relatives who was in the town for a conference and had just realised we weren't far away.

What a surpsrise! This picture was not intended as a contender for the PoW, it was more of a marvel at how amazing it is that modern tech allows precise tracking of fast moving objects at 50/1.2 in poor light
I'm of course very happy that it was found worthy of this honor in such a fine gallery.
