I attended a sarod concert by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, a well noted and respected sarod player.
The concert consisted of his two sons, himself, and a tabla player. They play Hindustani, a classical music form from north India. These events tend to be rather austere, to the point of being severe. There is zero glamor, antics are frowned upon, lighting is constant, the players are seated. The emphasis is on art and virtuosity, rather than entertainment. In that it's comparable to western classical. Decorum is strictly followed and the players and audience are respectful towards each other. 1. Greeting the audience. 2. Taking a moment to enter the concert mindset. 3. Tuning the instruments. 4. In the zone. 5. And off we go! 6. If you haven't seen a professional tabla player, you're in for a treat! 7. Getting lost in the performance. 8. The shiny sarod. 9. The maestro enters. 10. All set? 11. 60 yrs' worth of professional performances flow out. 12. Zen thru music. 13. Everyone sits on the floor for the duration of the performance. No theatrics! 14. Swaying to the music. 15. The fretless fingerboard is metallic and can make for nice photo ops. 16. A lifetime of mastery. 17. The effort. 18. Strumming. 19. Flow. 20. Humbly accepting the accolades. C&C welcome and appreciated. A58 with Tokina 100-300/f4, A77ii with 16-50/2.8, and A99 with 80-200/2.8. I was assigned a seat and instructed not to move so I had to shoot from there, hence the fixed perspective and limited variation. Regards Sashi Edited by skm.sa100 - 28 April 2024 at 16:20 |

The difference I can see that pic #2 has a shorter URL compared to the others which have a ridiculously long URL. I remember having this issue before and at that time the software that runs the dyxum web app marked the URLs as suspicious.
Google photos does this - generate super long URLs. Maybe the mods/admin can take a look? I did preview the images last night before clicking on the post button and it worked for me then. Even I can't see my own images so it's not a permission issue. |

oh ja totally, #2 has 205 characters in the url, #1 and others have 986+ characters ... guessing the backend has a 255 character limit on url (8 bit word) ... InternetExploder used to only allow 2048 characters, but most web requests allow >4k in the request; modern browsers can handle 65535+
ACTUALLY it might be permission - when I open the url in a private browser I get a google login page for all except #2 ... still trying to figure that out... |

There is a difference between a shaky or out-of-focus photograph and a snapshot of clouds and fog banks. - Schrödinger
