Sony have released Firmware Version 2.02 for the a1 camera, with various fixes including some to do with the SEL200600 G lens.
Available from the Sony website, the firmware update is downloaded to your computer, then transferred to a newly formatted SD card that is inserted into slot 1 of the camera which must have a freshly fully or nearly fully charged battery installed. You go to Set-up, Set-up Option, Version to see what version your a1 is running. If it is 2.01, simply update using the instructions on the back screen of the camera. If it is an earlier version you have to first step up to Version 2.01 step by step through earlier versions, all downloadable from the Sony website. The update takes around 5 minutes. Thanks, Joe
Thanks to to you I found the update. However, it seems an update to version 2.02 and not V2.2 (Unless I missed something) |
