Right, I missed this announcement so I'll try to join in for at least the week 28 challenge, and probably B&W too. Now that I am reunited with my SEL28F2 it's the least I can do for the coming week. I may need to take a rain check almost immediately to cover the fact I only realised this was on at about a quarter to midnight ...

I switched to film for my "serious" photography, mainly medium format and panoramic cameras. For snapshots and such I have a rugged, small digital camera. So it's been a while since I took my A-mount gear out of the cupboard.
For sentimental reasons I still visit Dyxum once in a while and as luck would have it, I just discovered that there was a challenge that will start tomorrow!
My a900 is still configured to 1:1 mode (read: I blacked the sides of the viewfinder out), so my pics will be square. Hey, it's hip to be square!
As far as choosing the focal length that suits best when using a cropped full frame camera, I have a 24mm and a 20mm that I could use. The 24 corresponds roughly to the diagonal angle and the 20mm roughly to the horizontal angle of view... Not sure which makes more sense.
Can only participate in the first week, unfortunately, but will try to throw in a bit of black and white and some abstract stuff. Kinda suits my shooting style anyway

So will I! Probably only the first two weeks as I'll be away for the third, and the end of the second.

Count me in, Pieter - I think I can manage! Maybe I have to skip one of the weeks, but I will try my best!

Welcome Robbie, we'll grant you some extra slack on the pic-a-day guideline so you have a little more flexibility in line with your caretaker activities.

Hello everyone! Since I'm currently pretty busy looking after my wife and hardly have time to take photos, I'm not sure if I can contribute anything to the challenge - but I want to try.
Probably for the first two weeks.

I'll give each of the three a go. Some time since I did one of these - think I have a Vivitar Series 1 28/1.9 up in the top room...

Mmmm, I'll start with the first week, the other two I'm in France with no internet yet (on the laptop). As soon as that is provided, I'll try to join one or maybe two of the others.
