Sure, though I doubt they can realign the elements better than whatever manufacturing process they used initially. 6 days ago they said they would ship me a new one if they couldn't repair it.

Looking at the price of the 28mm it would've made more sense to just replace it by another copy....

If you're a bit insecure about Rollei.de, Dutch store Cameranu.nl has it for €169,15 (Black Friday deal), Delivery to Tsjechië is €17,50. This is a very reputable store with locations in The Netherlands and Belgium (it is the same price on the Belgian site).

If you're interested, the Viltrox 56/1.4 is €239,- at Foto-Erhardt.de - shipping cost is €15,99

Thank you Addy for your kind help.

There is also the Viltrox 85 1.8 which I find very attractive. It seems that I have a lot to do during the weekend.

Hi Adday and everyone.

I've just noticed that Foto-Erhardt offers A6600 with "kit" lenses I am considering. Sigma 18-50/2.8, Tamron 17-70/2.8.

They don't really have the Viltrox 56/1.4 Addy mentioned the day before yesterday - it is not available.

Deciding between 56 and 85 mm lens seems to go in favour of an 85 mm lens. Foto-Erhardt have Viltrox 85 version II for €279,-

I could buy both there for a nice price.

I can not find A6600 + Sigma/Tamron kits in Czech stores. On the other hand, I have never (or rarely?) bought anything from abroad. I guess international shipping is normal, but I have no experience with it.

Do you think buying from Germany to the Czech Republic is a good idea? Have you experience with Foto Erhardt? I have googled a bit and it seems to be a reputable store.

This message means considering A6600 + either Sigma 18-50 or Tamron 17-70 + Viltrox 85/1.8.

Thank you and have a nice Sunday.

BTW, all the but one of the pictures in my thread "Rome at Night" were taken with the A6600/Sigma 18-50 combination. I had dropped my A6700 the day before and I needed to use the EVF at night. Great combination. The A6600 is still a great camera.

Foto Ehrhardt is a reputable seller. BTW: They have the Sirui Sniper 75mm F/1.2 now for Euro 329.

Thank you for your posts. After some waiting I expected this thread to be already dead.

Waldo, thank you for mentioning the Sirui Sniper. I have read your review here.

Do you consider this Sirui Sniper (75mm) superior to Viltrox 85/1.8?

Can you (anybody) comment on the FL difference between 75 and 85 mm?

Thank you.

Maybe, to put it in another way: Why should I consider Sirui Sniper 75/1.2 (EUR 340) instead of Viltrox 85/1.8 (EUR 280)?

Or why not?

Edit: I think I can guess at the difference between f1.8 and f1.2.

Prices just found on www.foto-erhardt.com.

Thank you.

75mm / 1.2 = 62.5mm > 85mm / 1.8 = 47.2mm

About 32% larger background blur for similar framing.

Stated focal lengths vary. The Sony FE 1.8/85 is more like an 82mm. I think I heard the Viltrox was longer, and there is the "F1.6" thing with it. Both should be between a 100mm and 135mm full-frame equivalent.

Thanks to all who helped me to discuss the topic.

Yesterday I ordered A6600 + Sigma 18-50/2.8 and Viltrox 85/1.8.

I decided not to buy Sony 18-135 because thanks to your advice I found A6600 + 2.8 third-party lens kits that are not normally available in my country and I liked the prices. These kits are available for EUR 1350 and A6600 + Sony 18-135 can be purchased for cca EUR 1200 in my country. I know the 18-135's long end is soooo long compared to 50 or 70 mm, but I like bright lenses and the prices are not much higher.

Considering between Tamron 17-70 and Sigma 18-50 was quite difficult. I finally chose the Sigma because it's smaller with 55 mm filter diameter (I have a 55 mm polarizer... not sure I will reall use it, but maybe). I've also read that it's mechanically better.

And after some testing and reading I decided to choose a 85 mm lens (not 56 mm) and although the Sirui 75/1.2 was tempting and I have read a lot of praises, I felt that slightly longer lens is better for me and the Viltrox is a bit cheaper. I should have decided earlier, the Viltrox is now out of stock, so I have to wait, probably a few weeks. I don't really mind.

I think the A6600 + 18-50/2.8 + 85/1.8 is quite a conservative set which should serve reliably for everyday shooting and indoor shooting (the 18-50) and portraits. The 18-50 should serve well for general video as well.

If I do not forget, I will let you know after it arrives.

Thank you again.
