We've had flowers and grasses, so how about fungi. Here are some of my better efforts from last autumn. These were taken with a 5D with either the 18-70 kit lens or the 50/1.7, plus extension tubes:

LOL at Silver too...

@ Turerkan: Yup, it's one of my 1st shoots with my new 7D and my beercan back in 2005 and I tried to focus on the 'black' center of it to get the tiny 'black triangles' behind the center that actually 'stood' up, but hard to see here...

Here was a mushroom(s)? that was growing about
15 feet (4.5 meters) up on a tree. I found it unusual
just because it had three parts growing from one.
This might be the standard arrangement for this type of fungus.
