Even if you are by nature a solitary photographer, you are likely to get a real buzz out of meeting up with other Dyxum members to take photographs. It is fascinating to see how others tackle photographic subjects and great to actually meet the people you have been conversing with on-line.
This topic is for discussion of possible meetings anywhere in The Vancouver area. Dyxum members are invited to suggest meetings and make preliminary plans in this thread. Once you have settled on a venue and date/dates, PM me or any other admin/moderator about having a specific planned event thread set up (this makes your event more visible to other members!). Keep an eye on regions that are near where you live and, if you are visiting somewhere that has a group, why not drop them a line in their regional thread? An index of all the regional threads, planned meetings and resulting photographs can be found here - Bob Janes Vancoooooooouver! Just a little hint. ;) I was at Niagara Falls this past Sunday. Thats okay 800si, I was thinking about sometime in July. My busy season ends at the end of June. I'm open for suggestions.

How about something on the West coast US. I'm in Seattle, I know there's some other members here as well. Seems to be some from Vancouver BC. Anyone in Portland? Let me know I'm in!

Is your 7D alive? Next weekend is good for me, as I have a family function on the 11th, and the airshow on the 12th. Van Dusen sounds good. I'm free anytime.
Hey, maybe we can go to the airshow too? |

Mabey next weekend, or 3 from now. I may go to the Airshow too.
I bought an A100, cuz my 7D is still dead. Let's see if we can get some more people out this time. Garth |

Nope, Van Dusen is not good...they're closed due to the civic "workers" strike, as is QE Park. Hopefully they will re-open by next weekend, but it doesn't look good.
