At 12 pages long it is time to shut this thread and start a new one, which I will now do. Congrats to all who have posted such great shots of their feathered friends. |

Taken at Coverack on the Lizard Peninsular Cornwall, all with 5D and Tamron 55-200 @200mm, overcast day so ISO set to 400.
3 Juvenile gulls, I suspect the fish remains are courtesy of the local fishing fleet. ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm faily sure these are Turnstones, winter visitors from Scandinavia. ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers MIKE |

A shot with an A700 (only the CF card in it was mine) coupled with my Big Beercan at the Dyxum meeting in Nijmegen (Afrika Museum).
Beautiful day (see thread). Loved how the A700 handled. Less noise (both audible and visible) as well as much faster AF on my BB. These flamingo's were on an inside court of the museum and a popular topic, so you might see some others later as well. ![]() Edited by pegelli - 18 November 2007 at 12:41 |

We had a break in the weather this afternoon so went to try and find some flooding... didn't, but here's the ducks and geese at the local shopping centre wetlands...
