I still think that many of the shots in this thread are simply shots taken in streets (subjects in environments) rather than ones which meet the strict definition of "street photography" where there is a greater "focus" on the people in view.

There's some good reading material here.

@jbalpha; that's simply great .... it's very hard to make portrait oriented street photo, and you made one!

In fact, exif information is included almost all of my pictures, buty cos you asked:
"Camera: DSLR-A700 Date: 05.04.2008 16:55:50 ISO: 200 Exposure: 1/500 s Aperture: f/9.5 Focal length: 18mm Flash: No"
Lens was Siggy 10-20mm (my favorite "street lens" for A700)... not much PP, only some contrast lowering and a little bit more blue ....
In fact my favorite camera for "street" is A900 coz the viewfinder ... it's so clear it makes easy to notice what happens, and lenses for A900 I mostly use 24mm, 17-35mm or 24-85mm ... and I try to live with all that happens, so I'm not watcher type street photographer...

@I Inspiron: thx. I'm trying my CZ135 for streetphotography

@ Raimios: I like the first one best (but the last one is certainly cool )

Two more CZ135 experiments & BW conversion tests
