    Posted: 26 October 2008 at 11:42
Dear Dyxumers,

This time we had "twardy orzech do zgryzienia" ("a hard nut to crunch" - a Polish saying we use in such situations): we had two winning shots with equal number of points.

Generally it was a very close race between three shots: Maffe's "Slow Pace", Sitompul's "Lady at 14:25", and 6tyNine's "Tokyo Rain". Initially Maffe was the leader, but the leadership was taken over at the very end and both Sitompul and 6tyNine crossed the finish line with the same number of points (46), winning with Maffe by a whisker (44 points).

Because "there can be only one" I aksed admins and mods (those who did not vote previously) to choose the winner from the two ex aequo shots. The decision was consistent, clearly indicating who gets the main prize. Ladies and gents - I'm pleased to announce The winner of the DPC #64 "City Life":

"Lady at 14:25" by Sitompul

The honourable mention "award" this time goes to the remaining two of the "Great Three"

"Tokyo Rain" by 6tyNine

and

"Slow Pace" by Maffe

Congratulations and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Happy shooting,
MiPr

p.s.
Voting rules will be modified a bit to cope "automatically" with "ex aequo" types of situations.

Congrats sitompul, I agree with the judges' decision.

The other photos were excellent, too, though. Congrats to the runners up.
