Alcest in Limerick: (The shirt Neige is wearing is a Junius shirt, where Junius is the first band (of three) of the evening)

Session over:

Quite accidental view of the mixer table:

All with Nex 3 & Industar 69 (somewhere between f/2,8 and f/4. The shutter times were between 1/50 and 1/4..)

So far, that's been my only gig-combo, but when I receive the Sigma 85 f/1,4 I shall try that out together with my A77 (even if the A77 likes darkness as much as the Industar 69).

George, I should have made it more clear that there was access problem to your pictures, not that anyone's having copyright issues. Anyway, sorry about the confusion and thanks for sharing your work with us.

Cheers,
Michael

I thought there was some copyright issue with them so I deleted the images. I'm not on Flickr but the Festival have them on their account. My website is hosted by Zenfolio and I think I've posted links to a size larger than I've enabled public viewing in. That must be why I can see them but no-one else can. Mystery solved.

Nytrosyl must be wondering what's going on. My sincere apologies.

I'll repost the images.

@gwevans

I'm not sure what happened, but at first there were blank white squares with sign “Content protected by owner”. Later today I could saw your pictures and they were pretty good (at least for me). Did you make your gallery on Flickr private at first and make it public later.

I don’t believe that “Content protected by owner” meant that you need rights to post them (especially if photos are yours), but that you some have disabled the access to your gallery and we couldn’t see it.

Please upload them back because they were nice photos.

-------------------------------
Edit: Actually I just tested and if you set gallery to private on flicker then photos aren’t shown on Dyxum anymore. I didn’t get “Content protected by owner” but there was some standard Flickr text saying that image is unavailable. So I guess that was the problem with your photos. But I might be wrong.

How small is small?
Well, if it's bigger than 23x16mm, then it is huge!

Hi gwevans,

I'm not Nitrosyl, but I'll try to explain ;-)

The photos didn't show up on Dyxum. Only empty frames saying "Content protected by owner". Something with your link didn't work as it should.

Images deleted.

@Nitrosyl. I don't know why you've posted a comment after my images and not the others in this thread but I've taken them down anyway.

I was asked to do the Festival of Firsts a favour by photographing the performances free of charge for next year's publicity and was given the right to use them for my own use. I've volunteered my services to the organisers, spent my own time photographing and processing and the images are not for sale.

I asked all of the acts for their permission prior to capturing them and they've all been offered free copies in exchange for permission to shoot.

I don't understand your problem with my posting of the images in this thread. The Festival have all of the images on display on Flickr. Who owns the photographs? Could you please explain as concert photography is new to me.
