What a great meetup. I'm looking forward to more shots. Thanks for identifying the "usual supsect" in the group shot.

It was a great day indeed, both weather and company were fine.

@Pegelli: I expected it to take a couple of repairs before you got all the names right but

A couple of shots I took

Lenslust with the 300 F/2.8 of Nebbor
(I noticed everybody to unmount the lens after 3,42 minutes, returning it to Nebbor, who put it back in his bag time after time. They all murmured something about superb quality and weight )

Lensbaby
You only learn through practice, so I brought the Lensbaby and used it

As portrait lens: Grubeater saving on telephone costs to allow for the next lens

The advantage of the Lensbaby is that it shows practically no flare

Lensbaby has a focus 'tunnel' in stead of a focal plane

Distortion is due to to descend of the building

Some 'normal' shots

It's Spring again

View at our first stop

A bridge

Street photography

Annoying the residents of Dordrecht

(taken with Dirk's 500 F/8)

And two more HDR's (I couldn't resist)

As the 300 SSM was obviously the hotcake this day, i'll post two "comparison" shots i made (sort of coincidence, that's why the aperture settings are different)

#33 Church clock Sony 300 f/2.8 G SSM (made right after Nebbor's #2) f/9 1/250

#34 Church clock Sony 70-200 f/2.8 G SSM @180mm f/5.6 1/400

#35 ..and because i liked it so much another shot with the 300 SSM. Thi s is the same bridge as my photo #8, from the other side (thanks Nebbor!)

#1 The seriously crooked tower (sorta trick sort)

#2 What can I say? I'm a wide angle freak

#3 Testing DR with pegelli's face

#4 Look at Shatun's grin

#5 Testing my new Metz 58 AF-1 in HSS mode

#6 Testing my new Metz 58 AF-1 in HSS mode

#7 Even more HSS testing

#8 Let's not forget the beautiful harbour

#9 A Dyxumer on every street corner

#10 10 mm freakishness

#11 More 10 mm freakishness (yup that's my balding head you're seeing)

ouch, you're fast buddies.
Thanks for the nice atmosphere yesterday and sharing the glass and cams.
Great to learn so many sympathic Dyxum dudes.
We were in a total with 19 DDD'd and virtually with 21 when DLNY and Stefan joined at the time Wimski had to go.
No time to post my exciting A900 shots till tonight.
And yes, that cam thrilled me.

Seems you had a GREAT time! Nice to see your photo's (although the lensbaby photos make me kind of seasick.. ). Like the groupsphoto as well, knowing who is who.

I will also say it was a great day, great company and great glass (both liquid filled as well as optical )

I haven't had time PP'ing much pics. The painters come tomorrow and I'm currently packing our bedroom in boxes so they can get started at 7:00 tomorrow . Quite a job that will take the rest of the day . It will probably later in the week before I can do anything sensible on them.

Great shots sofar from all. Keep em coming.

Edit, we missed you DaveK, hope you had a good time in Lisbon as well. Your ex 80-200 provided great service again.
