Totally agree; prime lenses really make you think about composition, and especially for photos like these where you essentially choose a framing at the outset, and then try to make it work once you've made that choice. For someone in movement bouncing up and down on a trampoline, that eventually leads to some surprises and I was not unhappy that the second one turned out to be focused decently enough.

I find number 2 unconventional... yet perfect. For me, this is one of the large benefits of using fixed focal length lenses..... AF aside, my "eye" is just not THAT good, yet forced to closer than I want sometimes, or farther, I often find good framing that I would never have thought of otherwise. (and in my case usually by accident found AFTER the fact in PP )

I was hurting for some autofocus here! I took a million of these and most were out of focus. But that's OK because I'm happy with the few that came out more or less.
