Dear Dyxumers,

I've just finished counting votes and so it's the time to announce the winner. All competitors were excellent photos but out of them you liked MCsaba creation the most:

"Crack" by MCsaba

Congratulations!

The two runner-ups who get the Honourable Mention award are:

"Oh, not her again!" by FADEC

(which is my personal favourite) and

"Feelings" by TXARLI

Congratulations and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Happy shooting,
MiPr

All three are incredible shots in their own right. I love them all for different reasons, but congrats to the worthy winner MCsaba . Terrific shot.

All genius stuff to me...and such completely different interpretations, from violence to humor to serenity.

This was a high standard of DPC! I was pleased to make the final and not at all surprised not to win! Any of these three would've been a worthy winner, as would several of the other entries. One Question to MCsaba: How many bulbs did you get through to get that shot right?

Wow, thanks for the honour and kind words. Agree with Oldguy about the different interpretations, amazing work, I loved these very much.
The number of victimised bulbs for my shot was quite low (I broke 6 bulbs and got 2 good pictures), thanks to a sound-activated flash trigger that I built myself. The ones interested may check out this article: http://people.rit.edu/andpph/text-cheap-sync.html but there are many other description that are easy to build for anyone.
Cheers, MCsaba
