Dear Dyxumers,

I am pleased to announce the winner of the "Flare" DPC:

"In a Dewdrop" by badlydrawnroy

The honourable Mention this time goes to the following two excellent photos:

"Let Go" by ABramley

which lost with Roy's photo by a whisker and

"Kids" by Sanjuro

As usual the winner will get beautiful and shiny Golden Dyxum Patch (if only he will have any place left on his chest to cling it ).

Congratulations to the Great Three and thank you all for voting and participation in this DPC.

Happy shooting,
MiPr

I'm embarrassed to win another. I think you guys & gals out there in dyxum land voting must feel sorry for me or something

I only have my A200 left now (still for sale ) so I will not participate in these contests very much longer. Who said 'thank goodness' ?

Big big thanks to Mirek (MiPr) for the efficient and cheerful way he runs these DPC's and as always thanks to all who voted no matter which pictures you voted for. I'm sure every entrant appreciated your votes.

Commiserations to the HM's you were both equally deserving of the win.

Roy

Well Roy, if it makes you happy, I voted for the two runners up...

But seriously, congratulations on another win, and it won because its a great photo! I presume you can still vote in DPC's.

Congrats to ABramley and Sanjuro for the great runner up photos.

Roy, way to go. If I were you I'd buy some good Sony stuff back as you'll miss all this glory (or keep the A200)

Congrats to you, the runners up and all the other finalists. Another enjoyable competition by master MiPr.
You can see the April Foolishness 2023 exhibition here Another great show of the talent we have on Dyxum

Congrats Roy...

As a side note, I think you should color the patch neon pink as an outgoing gift to the pantywaiste.         j/k...just poking fun at the deserter.

Nice shot BTW Roy.

It's a superb shot, well done!

I'd been waiting for this - at least I pushed you close, by my count you went from runner up to winner with the last vote of the comp! Well done, and well done to Sanjuro as well

Roy, I think you should reshoot your acronym shot wearing your patches!

Seriosly though, it really is an outstanding picture, as are the two HMs.

Crikey Adam, MiPr said I won by "a whisker" was it that close ? Tough luck, if it is any consolation you are certainly a very talented photographer.

Nice idea brian but I don't actually have any patches I kept them all shiny and new and donated them back to the 'Golden Patch Repository'

Roy,
Congrats... again!
I notice that you took this shot with the Tamron 90mm macro that I now have... does that mean... who said "it's the photographer, not the gear"?!
